Over 25 years’ experience at senior level in human resources and organisational development in international NGOs, not-for profit and commercial organisations  I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), am qualified in Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ), Belbin (Level 1 & 2 of British Psychological Society (BPS) and is an Associate Member of the Association for Coaching.

My expertise is inspiring and leading organisational cultural change, directing corporate and HR strategy and planning together with complex organisational restructures ensuring that staff are engaged and informed from the very start.  I have project managed cross-organisational working groups to deliver key strategic goals within demanding timeframes and budgets.

Education:   MA in Strategic HR – Kingston University.  Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD)

Likes:  Adventure holidays, (Ethiopia, (hiking in Simien mountains), Cuba, Argentina ), good food and wine, Italian coffees, languages.  Activity – running, cycling, CrossFit and scuba diving in tropical climates
Dislikes:  Creepie crawlies

Completing Ride London in 2016 in 6 hrs 47 mins (without the benefit of cleats!)

What is your job title?


What does your role entail? 

A range of project work – carrying out reviews and coming up with innovative solutions, standing in as an interim HR director or senior manager.  Hafton also provides practical supports by way of employments contracts, sound HR policies and help with disciplinary and grievance meetings.

How do you help your community?  

I am a host for NightStop (charity that supports homeless 16 to 25 year old) and help run a debt counselling course.   I am a trustee for the UK arm of a Swiss-based international NGO called Medair.

What is the most exciting/rewarding aspect of your role? 

Seeing the transformational change following an intervention Hafton have made.

Why did you join BNI? 

Wanted to expand my horizons and work with dynamic businesses

What has BNI done for you?  

Too early to say but I am impressed by the other members and how they have grown their businesses.
