I specialise in all areas of contentious intellectual property. I am particularly acknowledged for my experience in trade mark and brand protection issues. In addition, I have developed a practice in defamation, privacy and harassment matters.

Our story

Brandsmiths is a boutique firm specialising in intellectual property, sports, media and commercial matters we act for well-known brands such as Microsoft, Lucozade, BMW, Rolls Royce, Speedo, Mini, Ribena, Ministry of Sound, Gordon Ramsay, Hunter Boot and Beverly Hills Polo Club.

We also act for sporting clubs, kit makers and talent such as Queens Park Rangers, Caterham F1, Mitre, Canterbury, Wiggle, David Haye, Cyclone Promotions (McGuigan Boxing), Gennady Golovkin and Vector Martini Racing.

In addition we have as clients a number of fast growth IP rich business such as Pavegen, Missguided, feelunique.com, Puregym and Kind Consumer.

I love solving problems and the law allows me to do that.

What is the most exciting / rewarding aspect of your role? 

Litigating and being in court. Seeing the development of the team I work with.
